ASA Synth - Really High CPU in ableton 9

Hi I purchased the ASA synth a few days back and im having lots of problems keeping the CPU down sometimes even with only one asa synth in a simple ableton project with no other plug ins or audio processing.br
br
I am using a Celeron Dual Core CPU T3500 @ 2.10GHz 2.09 GHzbr
Installed Ram = 3.00 GBbr
64 BIT Windows 7br
br
Some presets work fine but then other make the clipping unbearable and the CPU goes through the roof?br
br
Any tips or things i could do to sort this out please its non workable.br
br

Turn the built in reverb off.br
br
Turn the poly restrict to 3 or 4br
br
br
Celerons are pretty old chips… Might be time to upgrade.

Also, although this isn’t something you can change easily,nbsp; a PC with 3GB of RAM will run slowernbsp;with Windows 7 64bitnbsp;than windows 7 32bit, especially with an older CPU.nbsp;

Thanks Both,br

I am going to update my laptop this week, which of the following specs would you recommend?br
br
•AMD A6-5200 processorbr
•Memory: 8 GBbr
•Hard drive: 1 TBbr
br
br
•Intel® Core™ i5-3337U processorbr
•Windows 8br
•Memory: 4 GBbr
br
br
•Intel® Core™ i5-3210M processorbr
•Windows 8br
•Memory: 6 GBbr
•Hard drive: 750 GBbr

3210m is a faster chip than 3337u

Im gonna go for a macbook pro i5 2.6ghz, 8gb rambr
br
When i do eventually get it how do i switch my registered copy of the synth to my new laptop?br
br
Cheersbr

Rich

Just download the license again and reinstall

if you are going for the macbook pro i would HIGHLY recommend maxing out the RAM to 16G. It is impossible to upgrade later.br
