I am setting up a template for kick 2 in Maschine. Most of the knobs and buttons seem to work, but others don’t seem to trigger the ‘midi learn’ function on right click. Specifically, I tried to assign the pitch button to a button on the Maschine controller (in midi mode) but do dice. I don’t get the midi learn box appear when I right-click.
Many ideas??
In Kick 2 not every button supports MIDI learn. Small toggle buttons like Pitch, Amp, Click often are not MIDI mappable, only the main knobs and sliders are.
If right click does not show MIDI learn, that control simply is not assignable.
Workaround is to automate the parameter in your DAW and map that automation to your controller, or use Maschine’s macro system to control the underlying parameter instead of the button directly.
