Hi there, I’m planning on buying a pitch correcting software. I’m torn between these 2 and come here for advice. I’m working atm on a couple of pop projects and may use it for house/techno productions as well (and whatever else genre). Which one would you choose and why?
They’re both good tools to be honest, however Melodyne DNA is a pretty tasty bit of software and it seems to me like you have more flexability and capability than with Autotune.
If you want a relatively simpler plugin for mainly real-time use, go with Auto-tune, but if you are after precision and natural-nuanced adjustments in your recordings, Melodyne offers much more. Check this comparison out, it gives you everything you need to know.
