Axwell wanted to thank everyone for the massive support with the release of Heart Is King this week and is giving away the Open Your Heart acapella! So now you can create your very own Open Your Heart / Heart Is King mash-up that has been storming the clubs of late!

Simply visit Soundcloud here to download: http://goo.gl/cMKug

Axwell explains exactly how to mix the two:

“So put this acapella just before 2,33 - after 1 bar of heartbeat - and it should work nicely with heart is king during the break.”

Have fun making your own people!

Open Your Heart Acapella Giveaway by axwellofficial

Thanks but no thanks

I’ve thought it was pretty interesting from ‘How the hell sell some music and keep my fans engaged’ standpoint, obviously just me :crying:

what an awfull awfull pile of ****e this is…

Someone comments that its not even the full acapella :w00t:

I think the SHM are wankers. They could pay my mortgage of off & I’d still hate them

But agree Sean… Its a good idea

Yes Sean, I am with you one this. I don’t like the sample, but I think it is really interesting what they have done. In a way it is teaching how to do drop ins, and everybody loves drop ins.

In the old days I used to use a minidisk player with each track a small part of an acapella which I would drop in to breaks leading up to playing the actual track.

People always thought it was a lot cleverer than it was.

I should have changed the tittle, it wasn’t my intention to ‘show’ how to add one word to a track. DUH!

Rather to demonstrate that the marketing model nowadays is to ‘engage’ fans in to conversation, talk with them not just at them.
