So my main riff looks like this (see attachment)
And i know that I should be mimicking it with my PAD, offbass, and fast bass.
The question is however, as you can see I have certain intervals that aren’t identical like C2-E3 instead of C2-C3. In the tutorial Peak Time Trance, the instructor had some nonidentical intervals as well but for the fast bass he still did (in example) C2-C3 while the main riff was doing C2-E3. Is this correct or does it not matter since they are in the same scale?

you would generally keep the bass on octaves C2-C3 etc. but if it sounds good then go for it on different intervals.
