Bass from Daiquiri - Illusion

Hey Guys,



I was wondering how to make this style of bass from that Daiquiri - Illusion track that has been going around, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SZXza29iDg @ 1:00. I fooled around for a few hours in sylenth and couldn’t really get it.



It reminds me of the preset “known digi”, one of predator’s presets, Unfortunately, I got rid of predator a while ago and can’t deconstruct the patch.



Any help would be appreciated,

yeah has an FM vibe to it… you could get close with sylenth but you wouldnt get just the same sort of “knock” to it.



you could try Operator or FM 8 for similar sound… maybe even Korg M1 even though its not fm it has some fm sounding basses.
