I know the people of Sonic Academy would love doing a tutorial for this type of music.
They have a lot of experience with vocal work and mixing bass.
I second this motion
I think for a tutorial request we need to define what type of Bass Music we want?
To me ‘Bass Music’ or is a generic buzz word made up by the more commercial music industry, such as Radio 1, and major labels who are basically taking what’s been around for years on the underground club and rave scenes and re-branding it with a generic word. Bass Music, Bass Music Culture, Bass Generation, UK Bass Music. What does this mean to you?
I’ve been into Drum & Bass for 13 years, and prior to that was into UK Garage before it became overly commercial and the scene kinda died off. Now that Dubstep has boomed and entered the mainstream it seems that its opened up doors to many other types of music with decent bass lines in them and everyone is just terming it all Bass Music.
So for me Bass music can be a mixture of.
Drum & Bass
Dubstep
Speed Garage
UK Garage
UK Funky
Bassline House
4x4 Garage (Niche)
Trap
Moombahton
Ghetto House / Booty House / Juke House / Footwork
Miami Bass / Baile Funk
Dancehall
Fidget house
Kuduro
Plus others im sure.
So I think, lets get one tutorial for each kinda of Bass Music
I wanna see a tutorial that will make my face go like this:
