is it possible to have battery sounds go into drum rack? so i can layer and what not with battery.
cheers,
you are the coolest!!
do you mean you want the same sounds that you have in battery to be played in ableton’s drum rack in a completely separate project?
if so, you just find the location of the samples and drag them into the drum rack in the same way as you do with battery
I think battery is great for Cubase users. For Ableton live, we have drum machines for our percussion, where as Cubase, i don’t think you do. I have Komplete 6, but I never use Battery.
thnx B,
thats what i think i was lookin for. right on. that’s some dope advice.
word howie that’s cool. the sounds in battery are so nice. its a great vst.
i find it pretty difficult to get good drum sounds in ableton it’s self. i know she’s def got the power to but i just cant deal with the clicky sounding drum sounds if feel what im sayin. but shes wonderful and my favorite place to have around my performance.

Really??? I completely disagree, but hey, whatever works for you. Perhaps its because I never spent alot of time with Battery. But I will say this… If you gave me 30 minutes, I could show you around drum racks to which you would never touch battery. If you have a Mac, that could be a reality!
I’m in!
i would like like to use drumrack as one of my powerful iinsturments but, it can be so complicated at points. prolly cause its such a powerful insturment and has a lot to offer.
if u have some strategies about it, i’m all for it! that would be terrific!
