Can anyone teach me how to properly match a vocal sample to the beat without knowing the speed of the vocal
for example this sample
Please use Logic or Ableton

Load you vocal sample in.
Turn Warp off on the clip
hit play
tap the tempo in (top left) should get you pretty close.
move the left locator to the first natural down beat of the vocal
turn warp back on and right click and "warp from here at (what ever the bpm is set to)
bingo!
