I find that everybody is interested in bringing their track to the number one spot of Beatport. Including the revenue that this spot brings I’d like to add a little incentive: br
Anyone that’s been a member for at least 6 months of the SA forums and reaches Beatport No. 1 will receive from me a Korg NanoKontrol (only if you want it) including shipping costs if you post something(anything) of your own.br

I’d like to see people get involved in this and make it sort of a game like “The winner takes all”. I’m afraid I’d be the only one that would like to participate though even if I don’t have actually chance of winning :)). br

Anyway If you are interested please leave a response stating your bet and that you would like to join this game. In my case at least incentive driven production releases my full workflow power and boosts my determination. br

I think the important part of making music is making music you love yourself. I dont think its a good ide to try to make music that other people like. br
The outcome should be obvious.

I don’t get these guys who works for loop/sample companies. I think many of the loops they sell sounds great. Why don’t the guy who produced the loops do the track himself? Is it much money to sell them to sample companies or why do they do that?
It’s just another source of income for them.br

I guess if you have a load of loops and samples sat on your computer, for some people it makes sense to combine some of them, and sell them in a pack and make money!br

I know that it could even take years for there to be a winner. I don’t really have any studio gear because I can’t afford it so I was just willing to give it and thought there would be some extra gear from other members too. br

Even if I were to get a Beatport n1 I don’t really think I could get all the gear I want with the money that comes with it to be honest. I’m not really even participating (my upcoming tracks are not ‘chart-breaking’ and I’m not producing to please anyone ) just thought it would be cool and it would’ve been a token of respect for the member who garnered his techniques through this helpful website and reached that certain position.br
