Mark.

That synth sounds quite saw-y, so start with that. It’s quite a thick sound so you’ll want 2 or 3 oscillators and a bit of detune. The main thing is the modulation though - it’s a pretty simple LFO controlling the pitch. The other synth is a very straightforward lead that you can probably find in your preset patches.br
br
Dunno what the best synth for this would be; just any multi-oscillator additive synth with some kind of mod matrix

It’s a sample of this…br

The beepy sound is from it being played at low to high pitch rapidly with a little glide. You could try to make AND THEN RESAMPLE the sound yourself with detuned saws (not supersaws) … the important part being the gradual pitch modulation of the source. When you resample it, the pitch modulation gets quicker and slower with pitch, this is an important part of the sound, if you just play it directly from a synth it won’t work, or will be a massive PITA to automate it all.br
br
TBH tho, it will be much easier just to sample the 80 aum track or another mentasm track (mentasm by joey beltram springs to mind, dominator, some early prodigy also have good source sounds). Then program loads of gliding madness…br

If you really want to have a go at programming your own source mentasm to resample, something like the Tal uno vst could probably get close or U-he Diva ?
