Hey Osc1,
Just had a listen and its sounding like the start of something good there mate. I like the melody that you’ve got goin on, but I think you’ve overdone the side-chain with the bass and kick
I had to remove my headphones half way through cause the bass was that low it started to hurt my ears as these cans jcant take that much! lol
I’m not sure on the crushed/distorted hat, maybe some EQ to make it sit better with the rest of the track, but overall good stuff!
Have you decided to carry on with this? Would be good to see what it ends up like
