A quick question so ask.
My track I’m working on is 136 bpm, but i have a sample that has a root bpm of 134, so it is out of time with my sequenced percussion and drums at 136.
I tried upping the segment bpm of the sample in it’s own audio track to 136 but all this does is move the grid over the sample and does not change it’s bpm.
I’ve also tried loading the sample into the device (Sampler) and it just has the same segment bpm settings (obviously as it’s using the same sample)
Putting it in an impulse and keying it on another note just turns it into a pitch that is not in tune as my root key is C3.
Hope I’ve made sense, please give the answer I’m looking for.
u need to add it as an audio track and just simply warp it by the sounds of it
the root bpm is its original tempo and not what it should play at. Ableton should warp it and play it at the master tempo of the track. double click on the clip and make sure warp is turned on then place the warp markers at the start and end of the loop. If its one bar place 1 at the start and and 2 at the end.
Does this help ???
