Building a pc

I put a post up about a month ago asking for advice on buying a new desktop pc solely for music production.Got good feedback and everyone said build your own now ive looked into this and its definitely the way forward my problem is ive never done anything like this before to be honest i struggle to change a plug.Just wondering are there any companys out there who build pcs for music production or would this be to costly or do i just take a leap of faith and buy the parts and do it myself just worried i’l do it all wrong and lose my cash.giving me a bit of  headache this is any advice cheers.

Minimal

If you lived near me I would build it for you - would take about an hour or so

Whats your budget for starters

about £500

Well I built mine for about the same price - but that did not include the monitor or Windows 7

so if you have both those you should be able to get a decent PC for that

There are hundreds of guides on the net telling you how to build a PC and forums - its like building with lego in a way -

You need a fast processor - wayne will say go for an AMD I would day go for an i7

Motherboard - depends on the above choice and you must get one that is either AMD or intel compatable - again don’t try and be cheap on this

Memory RAM - 4gig if running 32 bit 8 gig if running 64 bit

DVD RW

A case - you can be flash or not with this

A power supply again depends how much you want to spend

Fans - to keep thing cool

This all may seem a different language but once you do some research it should become clearer - any questions either post or pm i have been building pcs for donkeys years

nice one gonna have a go myself just been looking at a few guides doesn’t look that scary

Like you I am not really diy etc minded but honestly once you take the plunge it will all make sense and the beauty is you can upgrade when you feel like it

Oh I forgot to add the Hardrive as well - I have 2 500 gigs installed
