Camel Crusher

For some reason, I can’t get Camel crusher to work as a VST as Live won’t even open (but will run in Logic no problem) so I was wondering if people have alternatives for it.

Also as a second question, when you have a situation where you want to use a particular effect say from logic but you’re working in Live, how would you go about using rewire to set this up?

give that a try.

thanks aapie… because I’m so new to Ableton, I was hoping not to have to use rewire to keep the tutorial as simplistic as possible. But i’m sure rewiring will come in handy sooner than later so might as well learn how to use it.

quick question for you… I essentially just want to wire the audio from Live to logic to access camel crusher, then wire it back into live. in my situation, is it possible to run Logic as a rewire slave?

Hey man. You could just rewire and then bounce to audio. that would probably be the easiest thing to do. then when you bounce, save it to your desktop and drag it into Ableton.

Sounds strange? Is it compatible with OSX?

Try giving Camelaudio an Email about it… they’ll get you up & running in a shot Mate.

I’m sure I had it working in both Logic & Live before I updated my OS from Tiger to Snow Leopard.

yeah, i would assume it’s compatible with OSX. I can get it working fine in Logic but when it’s installed, I cant even open live. I’ll pop them an email to see if they can help out.

Howie again with a solution to another one of my problems. Thanks man… How’s the new track coming along?

One alternative is ohmboyz ohmicide.

Its coming along well. I took a day off yesterday to take some placement tests for Icon. But i have to work on building some flow and making it slammin. I will never put out a mediocre song.
