Hi All… fairly new here… I just wanted to know if its possible to have the changes i make in Sylenth take effect on Ableton… (EG) I am raising the cutoff slider and want that to record the automation on ableton… Is this possible?

Yes - just drag your clip into the arrangement view, click on the parameter you want to record, press the global record and play buttons at the top and voila!
or if you freeze the track and flatten it in arrangement view, your automation will be included in the wav file.
