Hi guys,br
br
I was just wondering if someone can help me here… I write a lot of euro hard trance and have a major need for heavily detuned saws to use for my main leads. When EQing, no matter how much care and time I put into them they always have a horrible top end hiss to them when the cutoff is opened fully. It’s so frsutrating!br
br
I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for softening the hiss or even removing them completely. I’ve tried both rolling off the top end a bit and also dumbing down the amount of detune and portamento because the more I use them the worse it sounds.br
br
Can anyone help at all? br
br
Thanks in advance!br

Mogz
are you using a lot of distortion on them?
No distortion on them at all. Not within Sylenth or on a separate fx plug. I have noticed that all saws have that top end hiss but most professionals seem to get it sounding sweet even with the hiss. I am really struggling though. br
br
Thanks.
How about something like this, doesn’t go too fizzy at the top but it’s a pretty strong lead.br

Thanbks Jimmy, you’re a gentleman! I’ve downloaded so I will check it out after work
No probs, it’s for Sylenth btw…

I got the same problem too, but I did separate the sylenth1 per each channel and I did EQing not much with compressor on each channel.br
I use Ableton Live Suite on my PC…br
Hope it helps!
