Some good ideas there… Although everything sounds like its fighting for the same Area in the frequencies band.



MAybe try to spread things out with EQ… i.e. Create holes for certain sounds… try the Creating space tutorial.





Your high hats and a few other sounds are quite harsh sounding.



the bass only really extends down to around 200hz… im guess maybe you have smallish speakers or are using headphones… try listening to the mix on as many systems as possible and compare it to other tracks.







Check out the Mix Down with Pink Noise Tip It should get you a good basis of a more balanced mix.
