Ok I’m a free user for now, and i wanted to see the intro part and the drum part (wich are free) for the “How to sound like 8 Minimal-tech Format B- DUbfire” or stuff, i get a screen with nothing on it and when i click on it it says i dont have the proper plugin to view the adress, and it asks me “should i isntall the plugin” i say yes and it redircets me to quicktime site , i’ve downloaded and isntalled Quicktime for XP , but still that screen + quicktime doesnt work fine on my computer.I use Opera and XP.Oh and i’am suscribed to the youtube chanell of sonic academy , where there is no info for that turtorial…so i guess it’s not updated…
the best browser to view SA is Firefox
if you have just installed quicktime you need to quit your browser and possibly restart your computer if you are still having issues!
then give it a whirl!
but i would definitely recommend either safari or firefox
Ok i will re install qucik player and restart, hope it works, but i will definetley not change my browser for the one site, sorry.Opera is much better for me then Mozilla
Ok i followed your advice, now i have sound but i don’t have picture…
I even isntalled mozilla, same **** , diffrent browser…
Cant they just make the turtorials for flash player, like every normal site?!
Why does evryone have to install quicktime and have problems…Maybe some of us don’t want quicktime…
hi linky
not everyone has problems, and quicktime is a very popular plugin!
for us it provides the best quality video at the lowest file size so was the obvious choice.
can you tell me whether you are on a 64 bit system or 32 bit?
I think 32, but I’m not sure, how can i check?
P.S
I know quicktime is a popular plugin , but i don’t use it & none of my friends use it , i guess it’s not that good of a choise in my region. And i always seem to think that flash player is better and much more easy.
is your browser up to date?
sounds like a codec problem.
i would update browser to latest version
install latest quicktime.
restart and try again!
it ‘should’ be working after that
My browser is the newest Opera/Fire Fox
And Quicktime too,i’ve done the reinstall thing… doesnt work…
hi there
i’ve got same problem - hear sound, but not video
I use the updated releases of Firefox/Opera/IE8/Safari everywhere same problem.
any solutions?
PS. O.S. - Windows XP 32 Bit
