So, after being really bored one night I decided to try and make a song in Ableton for the second time. So I looked up some random techniques and threw some ideas together. I know things are really out of place this thing needs lots of work but I would love some constructive criticism especially on the drop etc… Anyways hope you enjoy my ****ty WIP haha.

i like whatever it is you’re doing at the end there when the bass cuts back in, you should definitely consider building up that last bass riff as a main hook or something. just a thought: it’d be interesting to see how that last part sounds with a sub under it following along with the riff and how it would texture it. good stuff!
Thanks! I’ll mess around with the end some more. I’m wondering though, if I resample my bassline again would it come out cleaner/fatter on the lower notes?
it might. try bouncing it to some separate audio tracks and separating out the freqs. maybe eq the crap outta the low end. you may need to add another synth underneath it to very subtly to give it more depth.
Thanks, I’ll try that. My PC is **** though this track is eating my RAM.
