Changing the pitch of Wav files in Simpler

Hey,

I have a wav sample that I cropped and put into Simpler. Now when I play the different keys on the midi controller, the pitch goes up or down, but the tempo of the sample also changes?



I want to be able to change the pitch of the wav file, the same way you can with a MIDI sound. Is this possible and is there anything I’m doing wrong?

Hey skooby is it a long vocal? if it is i usually warp it if its not i usually use the sampler in ableton and play with the root key function :slight_smile:

you cant change the pitch independently from the length in simpler…



you can if you load it in as a normal clip although you cant play it in with a keyboard.
