Come on, what’s on your list this year? What production toys are you after? Are you likely to have any under the tree?!
I’m lucky to have recently got myself most things, but if I were to ask for something this christmas, I think a really good mic, or some new monitors.
I have Alesis M1s at the moment, which are actually ok… but just quite big, and mine are passive (ie need an amp). I’d like to get rid of one more box in my room.
If we are talking a bit more fanciful, then maybe a Moog synth or a Korg effects box.
Well there is a lot I could wish for, but practically it wouldn’t happen unless I won the lottery or something.
I have asked my girlfriend for new headphones though
Headphones - LOL

That thing has approximatley 99% too many rotaries, buttons and what not on it for it to be understood by any normal human.

I had the Alesis M1 Passive and they are monstrously loud with the right amp, i got mine a few years ago after my brother suggested them (a good deal). when i had them set up i quickly decided they were far to loud and in ya face. when i compared the two (passive and active) the passive were easily twice the volume of the active, which was confusing because they are basically the same monitor.
any way james, after testing a few sets i decided to go for the KRK 5 and won’t ever change these. they are so nice to work with.

nothing wrong with that dude, thats what i love about synths!!! if you don’t know what something does then push it, twist it, switch it
Probably sounds a little ghey but honestly the only thing i want for xmas is for my friends and family to have a good one. Its been a while since my family had a bull **** free christmas and a few of my friends have had some really ****ty times lately (two of them from this forum) and my best friend hasn’t got long to live so those people having a good christmas is the best gift i could get.
I want to get the Vengance multiband compressor !!!
I’ve asked everyone for “time” this year. Apparently everywhere is out of stock!!

That does sound a little ghey but I completely agree with you! Christmas for me is a reminder of Cancer and the loved ones lost. Twiddle shiney things help life along over this period…

That’s what she said.
I second that Jon - all I want is to catch up with everyone back in the UK that I’ve not seen for many a year! Can’t wait!
That and underpants. I hate buying those and love getting them as xmas presents.

Might just save the cash to one side for a rainy day. Still thinking about getting a synth. Just a case of being in the right place @ the right time.
