Click Drop Down Needs Sub Menus

Clicks…br

etc.br
br
br
Endlessly scrolling off screen (with not even a scroll bar) is a workflow hindrance.br
br
Also it would be beneficial to allow user clicks to be simply dropped in the clicks folder, c:/programdata/sonicacademy/kick…/Clicks (which should ideally be located with the .dll in the vst folder) and have them immediately accessibly via the plugin. Current loading only allows for one import at a time. br

uh oh… it gets worse. br
br
br

  1. the load browser defaults each time. br
    br
not a huge deal as you can copy and paste the location each time. but again, why do users have to do this for each and every sample??br
    br
    br
  2. YOU CANNOT SCROLL THROUGH USER CLICKS USING THE GUI ARROWS?!?!br
    br
    br
you have to manually scroll through the ENTIRE list of click to get to the user portion at the bottom (again, why not submenus?). This takes 15 seconds each time - an impossible method to audition samples. br
    br
    br
there also seems to be no bidirectional looped scrolling… actually scrolling it simply broken. The only user sample you can scroll from is the very last, which only cycles to the top of the list (Clicks 01) - whereas the last preset click freezes and fails to scroll either way (probably as a result of user clicks being next inline, but it fails to even go back up the menu!)br
    br
    br
    br
    br
please fix. i consider this plugin broken at this point until its advertised features are functional - this includes br
    br
efficient and bulk loading of user clicks, br
    a useable click menu, br
and fixed scrolling through clicks. br
    br
    br
    thanks!

not something we’ve experienced, will have a look - are you on PC by any chance?br
ps - a quick way to get the the user clicks section is to hit the “-” key on your keyboard - it will jump to User Clicks.br
br
br
you can bulk load clicks by placing them inbr

thanks for your reply. br

I am not going to uninstall and reinstall now, but I am almost positive the User folder didnt exist before an initial Load process was performed from the plugin. That folder was the first place I went went trying to add my own clicks, and I could be wrong but I dont think it was there initially. br
br
edit: just reinstalled - that folder does not exist until the first time you load a click. br
br
br
As far as jumping to the User clicks, you are talking about the minus key directly next to the plus key right? I am not getting any functionality out of that, apart from having it close the scroll menu. I have also made sure to send all keystrokes to plugin so my DAW is not recieving them.br
br
br
thanks.br

(yes, windows 7, sonar X3)

i agree you should change the way the drop down menu is for the clicks.

+1 for sub menus.
