Ok so i dragged an audio into Live and it came up as ‘clip deactivated’, what is that and why did it come up?
Bit of a mystery to me as to why it would ‘deactivate’ a clip?
No idea. Just right click and reactivate.

maybe you had used the clip in a previous session and deactivated it and ableton had saved some info within the file (only a guess)
