This may be a little offtopic but do any of you guys know any good CLR style drum pack? I came to the conclusion mine were not good enough.

Theres some sample packs alright…

Steve Lawler dark techno

future sound of berlin

Wave Alchemy 808 & 909 packs - and their Drum Tools 1 (tech house / minimal pack).

Goldbaby Tape 808 & Tape 909.

You’ll have everything you need from there… Dont be afraid to put bitcrushers & distortion / overdrive on them. Mess with the dry/wet. I’d usually stick some comp after it to beef them up if they’re  a bit too broken sounding.

Mussi - That stabby perc sound in that track - FFS!!!

Thnx mate, ive been searching for couple of hours for packs now and did found some usefull stuff, but asking in this topic for advice on packs wouldn’t hurt anyone, so i will look into those shortly.:w00t:

I know the way it is!

I think its the Berlin pack… I found it cool listening to the hits, just to get an idea of the type of sound I was looking for.

Pitching stuff down a little, taking off some of the top end before you start adding reverb sounds right.

Shortening the release on the hats etc… can get you closer to the sound you are looking for

I like this:

Funk D’void - Shadowchaser.
