Collaborations

Hey everyone

I’m really keen to get started on some collaboration, I feel it would further production skills for any parties involved as well as being a lot of fun.

I think to best way to do it if all parties are not based locally is to share project folders, sending back and forth and also utilizing soundcloud where we can upload samples of ideas etc privately.

I also think its important for all parties to like to same genre or at least loosly match as well as using the same DAW for flexibility. I think this is best in terms of adding more elements and keeping project folders updated with new additions/ideas.

I also think its only fair for all parties to be at similar levels to keep production flowing.

With this in mind (and we’ll see how this goes, it might end up a none starter!) I’m starting with the idea that people can post their DAW’s, genres, soundcloud links etc here and we can see if there are any matches to get going.

I’m sure everyone has unfinshed projects, and another idea in the 1st instance is let each other hear them and you never know, someone else might have good ideas to progress it, at which point we can share.

My details are:

DAW: Abelton Live 8.1.1

Genre: Trance (including all sub genres such as tech, pregressive etc)

Soundcloud: http://www.soundcloud.com/waynefontaine

Location: Edinburgh

If anyone is interested in this please have a listen to my productions and if our genres match then reply with a soundcloud link and we can progress from there

Also if you like this idea please post your details and hopefully we can get something going with people that match your details:)

If this is a **** idea then tell me!

This has to be the funniest line I have heard in quite some time.

You forgot to mention that you like long walks on the beach while the sun goes down and licking vanilla ice cream and holding your significant other’s hand.
