Hi,
I created 11 kicks from existing tracks in Kick 3, but I have to say it is buggy as hell in Ableton Live 12 latest version in Windows 11 latest version and Kick 3 latest version!
Processor|AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor (3.70 GHz)|
Installed RAM|32,0 GB|
Procedure:
- Open a instance of Kick 3
- Init Preset
- Click Import
- Drag wav file on Kick 3
- Extract the kick in a loop
- Click Analyse
- Drag the Sub and Click in place
- Click on Sub and Click to fine tune
- Save the preset
Many times sudenly the screen changes back to the Initialized Preset and you can’t get back! All you can do is save the preset. Close Kick 3 and Ableton Live. Restarting Kick 3 in Abletons Live open project doesn’t work. You have to reboot Live and load a new Kick 3 instance to be able to open the saved preset and finisch the editing of the preset.
What is also very anoying is the fact that if you click twice on the Sub Sound and Click Sound the Preset Panel opens.
I don’t see a way of editing the start of the Kick (Sub & Click) once it is in Kick 3 for editing a bit weird!
Could’t find a way to auto loop the sample also.
OK to finisch a bit more positive: The results are spectaculair and when you spent some time on the editing even more then spectaculair!!!
