I’m a huge fan of your production tutorials. Recently, there’s been a massive resurgence of Trance-influenced sounds, and I’d love to see dedicated courses on two specific, yet very different sub-genres:
1. Modern Y2K / Neo-Trance (The “Rave” Style)
This style focuses on high-energy, 145-150 BPM dancefloor grooves that blend 90s Euro-Trance with , house , euro dance , modern Techno production.
- Key Artists: KI/KI, DJ HEARTSTRING, Funk Tribu. etc
2. Hypertrance (The “Experimental” Style)
This is a maximalist fusion of Uplifting Trance, Hyperpop, and Breakcore. It’s faster, glitchier, 2000s video games bgm styles and more digitally aggressive.
- Key Artists: nuphory, Virtual Self. rustie etc
- Focus: High BPM (160+), bit-crushed sound design, complex drum edits, and extreme supersaw layering.
Many producers often confuse these two, so a course explaining the distinct sound design and arrangement for each would be incredibly valuable.
