I just got a new macbook pro:

Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
Im running OS X EL Capitan Version 10.11.6 (15G31)
Im having problems a lot with Ableton crashing with very few chanels running in my daw its starting to click and pop and crashing. Any idea why its doing this? A machine of this spec shouldn’t be crashing this much help!
What soundcard are you using - was chatting with someone today who was having similar issues with focusrtie USB interface. Also check your buffer settings.
Focusrite Saffire 6 USB mate

sample rate 44100
I think there maybe a problem with USB focusrite and 10.11.6 - same cards and very similar issues with ableton and clicks and audio crashing.
Nightmare what would you recommend mate you think i should buy a new soundcard? If so which one would you recommend? Im convinced its El Capitan so many bad reviews on it
