Im using Ableton Live 8 on my laptop and when I insert a few midis the music struggles and starts and stops. Do I need to get a better PC or is it something I can just sort out buy clicking on something, lol
Start by looking at what the cpu % says up in the corner when your working it. If it’s way up there then you have some issues obviously… Without knowing the specs on your pc it would be hard to say…

The % in the corner switches rapidly from 60% to 95% and anywhere in between. My laptop is a pretty cheap crappy one, its an Acer Aspire 3690, processor- intel celeron M CPU 440 @1.86 GHz, RAM 1014MB.
