Create pioneer efx style fx in abelton

hey guys being trying to much dismay to recreate the “zip effect” which is found on the pioneer efx series and the cdj 200s, have been trying with the ping pong and utility devices in an audio effect rack but just cant get it configured it is really cool sounding effect and would be great addition to my dj template in live…

any ideas?

you have a sound example?

I also need an example to remember what it sounds like… i remember the jet effect but not the zip…

@ 22 seconds u can hear the effect

for live use you can create something vaguely similar with grain delay in ableton,

or just use transpose in the clip itself or get yourself a free pitch shifting plug

i would try frequency shifter, try both ring and shift modes

nice one guys coming close with grain delay!!!

any ideas on mapping settings for rotary knob just cant get it right!!!

trying to recreat this effect in an audio effect rack

Try the beat repeat & use the pitch amount section, depending on how dramatic u want the effect… hope that helps.
