Hi everyone.br

I have been struggling to create an dj intros for one of my tracks, and it seems to be a common problem for me. I just cannot seem to create something that flows well into my first break. Is this a problem for anyone else?br

I really like my current track, and I think it has great potential but I just cannot get to the point where I feel that I have a intro that fits well. Does anyone have some tips on how to create a solid intro? I think this is a missing piece for me and any help would be greatly appreciated. I can give some examples of intros that I have enjoyed as well if that will help explain what I want to create.
All you really need to do for a dj friendly intro is to have just drums. Very simple. If it doesnt sound good maybe you need to look into the mix. br

Do you have examples of your music ?
I hear you BUT i you listen to other released tracks there are very few with really interesting opening sections. Try varying the drums up a bit with additional hits or FX, filtering and so on. There’s usually not more to it than that on most intros.
