At about 0:45 after the “main” bass, there’s a plucky, almost percussive bass sound that’s very short and used as accents.
No idea how this is made. Any tips would be great.
Prety touch one… the thing with a lot of the dub step stuff is they have tons of different things modulation at the same time.
you might have phaser freq, filter, distortion etc. all routed to an ENV.
Its hard to dissect all those possibilities just buy ear… really needs experimentation
But at a guess its Super fast LFO modulating a digital type waveform and the amount routed to ENV along with some chorus or phaser… probably being modulated by the ENV too. Some distortion in there also.
Thanks for the response. When you say “digital waveform” what do you mean? I assume, for example, one of the waveforms you’d find in Massive, etc.?
