Creating Space - HP Filter vs EQ

I was checking out the Creating Space Training Vid and noticed Phil used the Ableton Auto Filter to remove unnecessary lows instead of an EQ. Phil, can you explain why you don’t use the EQ for this? Just curious…

I’d say he uses it cos its got less bands - so less CPU

also, steeper, more rigid slope.

Thats why I use it.

I use auto filter as its more flexible as well

Its just quicker.

Yeah, both pretty much do the same job.
