I have a question for the Sonic Academy People.
I signed up to this site to get Cubase Tutorials. I love the site & the community.
However, I am kinda disappointed in the lack of available tutorials for cubase.
So far I can only see 2 tutorials in the video section. 1 basic vid & another for electro.
I understand that I can also watch the other DAW videos and learn to apply the techniques in cubase. I have been trying to do this (although it is sometimes difficult).
I am new to producing and I have been strictly using Cubase 5. Eventually maby others
However only 1 of the tutorials is made in Cubase 5. The other is in Cubase SX.
There are some major differences between SX & 5. Like the A1 synth. I dont have it.
So I when I try to follow the SX video I have to improvise and make it up some how.
Almost everything in the video is the same (but not everything is) so it is still helping.
I guess I am just wondering if there are any plans to make any more cubase videos.
It seems like almost all the videos are done in Ableton. And i realize that Ableton is hot now.
It would be cool if there was a trance video for Cubase. Or Just something else.
Any thoughts?

i think when i enrolled few months ago with SA i had the same mentality. i know that there is Plug ins that Cubase might not have and probably some of the Tutorials might only way too much in Ableton . i did learned to follow tutorials using cubase plug ins nowaday i dont mind anymore if they work in any DAW . but yeahh would be nice to keep seeing new stuff or techniques in Cubase 5
