This is the full arrangement. Won’t stay up for long, but I do love to hear your opinion on this one.
Thanks!Daniel du Noy - Could You Feel Some?
This is the full arrangement. Won’t stay up for long, but I do love to hear your opinion on this one.
Intro caught my attention the most, really liked it. Really enjoyed the track throughout, very nice structure to it.
Cant really say anything negative about it.
Hey Daniel
It’s a great sounding track. The synths and bass work really well together.
There’s a couple of things you might want to consider though - (1) the perc seems to me to be kick, clap, hats/shakers*. If there’s something else in there I’m not sure I can hear it and I think that the track would benefit from something else. I know there’s that woody hit but it feels more synth-y than perc-y; (2) the break starts really really really well, with the hat flam and added clap, liked that A LOT but then it feels like it goes on for too long as a build as, again, this might be tied to the perc, not a lot changes. There’s loads of build but not much variation, if that makes sense for a two minute break.
*On a second I just heard a slight added knock after the break. Maybe this needs boosting?
I second the intro, really like it. Shakers and instruments sound great when the kick drops in. 1:04, that deep mono bass really makes this track bang! I really like the break, and how quiet it gets at the break. Its like starting at the bottom of a roller coaster. The drop is great! I can really see why you guys emphasize my track breakdowns to be a bit quiter on the bass side, it makes the drop impact wayyy more powerful. I really like the vocals on this one too, has a bit of a disco groooove. After 5:40, it does get a tad bland. Maybe add more variations? But then again, I do have a short attention span Anyways, good work man!
Thanks for the feedback already. Will have another listen this weekend
Btw, this is what I have right now
My thoughts:
-Would prefer the kick to come in 8 bars earlier at the start of the track
