Daniel du Noy - What U Want

Here something I’ve almost finished. Big room techno

It's only a snippet, but I guess you'll get the idea.

Would love to hear what you think of it!

Drewls just a little

Very nicely done bro. Have heard that sample somewhere before? Maybe a sample pack I have or a track, I think it needs a little more variation but outside of that fantastic!

That vocal? Yeah. That’s from a sample pack, but just suits the track perfectly. That’s why I didn’t really do a lot with it.

Thanks for the comment. Will post the full very soon. Hope that holds more variation for you.

Any one more that would like to have a listen? Thanks!

nice idea, i’d love to hear a stripped down slower version of this, maybe more in a deep house vein, good job tho

I used it in the first track I posted up here Mistro, “Spider Monkey!”

I like the track mate! Have you thought about a little more percussion to drive the track along?

Well. Here you can listen to the full finished track.

I do have my doubts on the low end though.
Yesterday I was spinning it over some Yamaha's HS80M, but I noticed the kick didn't have that smack as I thought it would have.
So if any one with a decent low end set-up can help me out here, I'd be very grateful!

i enjoyed the finished arrangement alot more than the original idea, regarding the low end, its not really the kinda kick i like and it sounded a little off untill the track really gets moving, if it was my track i’d probably lower the kick by about 2 or 3 db but thats just me :stuck_out_tongue:

You’d lower the kick in the beginning where I rolled off the low and reduced the decay? Or overall during the entire track?

well probably the entire track but also maybe roll of some frequencies till it gets going, that’s just my taste, i’m not really into these super massive sounding kicks… i realize you#re going for a bigger sound than i’m into :stuck_out_tongue: i actually like the parts where the kick gets weaker/smaller, maybe more of that untill it all comes together, again just my preference dont listen to me lol

Much better, definately see what you meant about variation in the vocal cuts for the final version.

Great track, very nice elements…

Thanks all.

And yes ekko, I was intentionally seeking that big techno sound
