Hey David, can’t comment on the music as it’s not my thing - Jan would be your man for trance. Sonically, the kick sounds pretty muffled in the mix, I dunno if that’s normal for trance but I’d say you need more cut through on it. The waveform on SC looks pretty squashed too unless it’s been mastered, it looks like you’re over compressing? Hope that helps.

The kick does sound a bit muffled. The hats are kinda boring, maybe sidechain them a bit to give em a little pump? I think you should also make the atmospheric sounds a bit louder. And maybe filter in the bassline slowly from the beggining? It gets kinda boring. I DO like the melodic break at :58 and LOVE how the bassline gets nice and BIG. Definitely has a awesome groove at this point. 2:05, I’m a sucker for short sweet melodic sinppets. Love this part! Its a really solid track, I like it, except the beggining.

Lots of energy in this one. Like to listen, on some occasion, to trance/progressive tunes. But what I often like in them, and what I’m missing in this one, is a break. A break of all the madness. You need to release the tension in the break. And gradually build it up again in the break into the drop.

Daniaan is very right, the tracks energy is maintained throughout and doesnt really change and progress, it definately needs that big trance break. The track he posted is a perfect example as well, definately my favourite trance track.
