Just got theses and for once it looks like I’m gonna have to read the manual… anyway, I decided to get it because I seen a few people make some really good sounds with Strobe (PADs & Basses).
Anyone here use them? I always hearing about them, fusor sounds really interesting for fx’s & layering. What your views on this?

Hey man, check it out. Read the manual on that one. Ill be honest too, I can run through Strobe and Amber like no problem. Cypher is a pain in the ***. It is a very very difficult synth to learn. Personally, if I do FM, I prefer to stick to Operator, but I do all my FM with my outboard gear. But you just need to spend the weekend with them, uninterrupted and make sounds. Turn knobs and figure out what each knob does. That is the only way you will learn and get away from browsing the presets.

yep it would seem so! cant even find hardly any info on the net on these, most VST’s have loads of you tube tuts but there is next to nothing on theses ones. Do u know of any good info sources mate?

It shows the capabilities of the synths and some super sweet features. However, you will have to turn some knobs and experiment dude. Thats part of sound design. I personally love the challenge of making dope sounds. Sometimes even so better then creating a song.
Yeah I seen them mate, I’m getting on ok with it at the mo, getting some nice gritty bass sound as we speak

Strobe is amazing. Remember…Modulation is your friend!
