I think the track sounds a bit bass light in the main section so ive attached 2 loops that will help.br

the timing issues are still there on the deep pulse bass in the big bassy bit.br

I think you need to try to get them in to a 16th grid.br

Thanks Phil. Sorted the drums. I am having difficulty making the bass go as deep as the one you have posted. For that part I am using 2 ANA’s, one for the high’s and one for the lows. For the low I have used the Bassish preset and tweaked it slightly and rolled it off at 100hz. Which tutorial should I be looking at to get a bass sound like the one you posted?br

I have no processing on that bass… It’s just a sine with a triangle and octave above I think. br

It’s really just a case of adding sine or triangle at the right octave. It’s easier for me because I have speakers with 10" cones so I can hear really low.
I shall start experimenting, thank you. Hopefully my headphones will suffice, as sennheiser say they go to 8hz. I just wish I read your post about getting 8" cones minimum before I bought the 5’s. Thanks againbr

Hi Phil. Could you help me make sense of this REW reading please. I’m still not quite sure if I have set it up properly. I have only taken a reading from the listening position so far, but crawling around on my hands and knee’s the bass response seems fairly even until I get to the corners in front of the LP, where its a touch boomy. br

Looks like a null at 60HZ and a mode at 70HZ… br

do a waterfall graph too… it will give you idea of how long the resonances are.
One waterfall, and i have included a phase reading as I have not messed around with the phase as i’m not sure what i should be listening for. Would I be right in saying that the waterfall is showing that 50hz and 80hz are not dropping off at all?br

You can really see that 70hz node extending right out… theres also another smaller node thats resonating around 120-130… br

Overall tho its a pretty flat response.br

you should think about getting some Bass traps. it will help calm the long resonance
