Phil its ****** GREAT dude FULL STOP !
well done man !
hopefully get the rest up over the weekend or very early next week.
had a quick peek Phil. Looks fantastic, really useful for me.
would be good to have a vid up front showing the completed track too. for initial reference.
also, apart for making it easier for people that don’t have Sylenth, is there another reason for doing the synth stabs and so on in Simpler?
Phil,
Well done as always makes the weekends even more enjoyable.

Use it in any synth you have. All you need is the amount of oscillators that he is using in the video to recreate.
Thanks Howie though I have both. So I was wondering why use Simpler rather than Sylenth? I’m assuming it’s because it makes the tut easier to follow for everyone. I’d just like to be sure is all.
Probably saves on cpu as well

not really. sylenth isnt CPU intensive.
I like to build up my stab samples… so its just a bit easier resampling them and you have a load of easily accesable samples that use virtually no CPU.
once they are sampled they also have a slightly differnt quality due the fact that the samples are gettin triggered at the same point every time where as in a synth OSC is constantly going so your stats can be less solid.
Just had a skim through it… absolutely awesome. exactly what I was hoping for in this tutorial - just waiting for the parents to go home then I’m locking the wife and kids in their room and myself in the studio
