These are used in Detroit techno and house and in a lot of deep/soulful (or jazzy) styles…br
br
I can’t find how to design the sound and can’t even understand how the notes are played… I know it’s about chords but when I play some major and/or minor chords, that’s really far from the result I aim to get… I am really into this kind of music and I am not facing problems with other elements (stabs, drums, basslines, …) but the pads are playing an important role and can give another dimension to a track…br
br
Thank you in advance !
Pad who come @2min ?br
br
lol i think he use something like 2key, last 3 are the same, you have key 1 and key 2… he make (i think) 1-1-1-2-1-1-1. And its repeat 2 time, one time hight one time a bit more low.br
br
It make his track… So its a bit hard to say how he do it. But reverb sure.br
I think he connect an envelope to his filtrer. On keys a bit more long we can listen that. it create a groove.br
br
Try to have a nice listening on that, to reproduce… br
br
And sure the dynamic is hard worked.br
br
Nice sound man

br

I am more looking for the kind of “key/pads” that are played since the first beat of the track… kind of jazzy chords… That sounds so soulful and brings some real deepness to the track!
