I usually do live mixes but sometimes I struggle for time to get time to do one for my residencies. I have used ableton in the past for DJ mixes so I can do it in bits when I get a chance but one thing I found time consuming was automating the EQ as I was having to put a EQ 3 on each channel and fade the bass, mid etc to get a smooth mix.
Wondered if there was any tricks for setting up busses or groups or automation to speed up the process or am I doing it right?
Cheers
are you talking about pre recording a mix?
