I’ve been wiped out twice today.
You’d think I would have learned from the 1st time.
man I had that same problem 2 days ago as well.
made me want to throw a brick through my monitor.
i did one better than that i deleted 5 years worth of work a learning last year please don’t ask how i managed to do it i’ll have so many Minus respect points it would be untrue hahaha
I have a shed load of post it notes saying “SAVE!” around my computer just to remind me!
I think sometimes when you are really enjoying yourself, its easy to get carried away.
Must get a few SAVE notes.
no big deal dude. it happens to all newbies! you should be learning a ton of stuff after your first couple weeks of making music, so it might be alot to take in, but you will get the hang of it brotha.

Sorry man, I don’t put any of my stuff on Soundcloud anymore. My label owner advised against it, so I took his advice. Its harder to sell a track if it has been on Soundcloud and big labels are less likely to pick it up.
I thought soundcloud was the be all end all for getting your music out there and heard. I’d like to hear more about this howie I was thinking of making a soundcloud account but I won’t if it does me more harm then good.
Ah, the amount of times I did that with Word years ago at school!
Without trying to tempt fate, I’m a save master now, my project folders have about 300 files in them!

So why not put on soundcloud under a different account with the tracks that you would not want to be released

Ah… I’m a awful hard cnut on myself… I’ll be honest - Loads of unfinished stuff.
I’ve totally turned direction in the last couple of months though… The HTSL has made me fall in love with the deep dark tech sound again.
Working on something at the moment that I am pretty happy with idea wise.
Looking forward to posting it up over next few days… I’ve never done it before actually.

Sound quality never really mattered as much to the musician when I was playing in Bands… thats what adds the pressure to the mix in this situation (No Pun intended).
Sorry man, I dont link my music up for just anyone to hear. Jon has heard pretty much all my songs, including the remix that is getting released by Different Pieces. But all in all, I refuse to make mediocre music. I want to make amazing music and I work very hard at it. Sure, Soundcloud is an avenue to get your music heard. However, I don’t feel that I need to use Soundcloud as a tool to achieve my goals.
