Dubfire - roadkill

first of all, i’m a big trance fan, but the main bulk of requests seem to be for techno these days, so i presume were more likely to get a tutorial within this genre.

however, as a general dance music fan, i like a lot of different genres, including the modern, techy, progressive vibes found in a lot of popular music today.

MY REQUEST AS FOLLOWS

  • ABLETON TUTORIAL

  • HOW TO MAKE SYNTH, AND BUILD-UPS IN DUBFIRE - ROADKILL

    - YouTube

i would like to know how to make these really big, bassy synths that build up to a climax, then kick in to a nice pumping beat.

you can find this at the main brekdown…

thanks sonic for everything so far…

p.s please consider a new progressive, uplifting trance tutorial

Hey Man,

Heres one we made earlier:

Have you seen it yet?

If you like Tech, the other Tut’s develop it further.

yes dude i’ve seen that. that tutorials based on a more minimal tech house style.

i was looking for that big synth such as the one on “roadkill” thats nice and plucky and groovy with the beat. yet in the breakdown opens up and starts side-chaining.

take a look at the vid, i’m sure you have heard that track and know what i mean.

also id like to see how the big build up is created. i can hear big reverbs and risers with a lot of white noise, but i’ve found it really hard to get that type of sound.

i recon those boys at sonic could sort that out for me!
