besides the fact that its really advanced just like all the tuts on here, which is f-ing great btw.
i didnt understand cubase at all. i was born as an ableton user. why was it in cbase?
i was so hyped about it went to work on it to improve my dubstep making skillz and bam cubase plummeted my day…
no offense to cubase at all. it obv. can put off great music considering that dubstep track you made was filthy.
I use Ableton and can wait to start this tutorial too. The fact that it’s done using Cubase shouldn’t be too much of a problem.
Should be able to translate most of the techniques/sounds etc over fairly easy.
You do get the Ableton session file of the same track int he resources too which should ease transferring the info between DAWs.

The most People in the Dubstep Scene are working with Cubase, my Friends from Aquasky for Example, whats the Problem, load the Ableton File into the Sequencer and check it out !
Most of the main learning in this tutorial is around sylenth and automation so should be really easily transferred to all platforms.
I dont think it is a big issue to transfer your knowledge from Cubase to Ableton .
also u will learn to use more your DAW seeing other DAW tutorials
