E-drums outputting smallest note value possible

I just added some low budget electronic-drums to my my studio setup, primarily for the midi output. My only annoyance with them is that the midi note that it records is, what I assume is the smallest value possible. You can fit approximately 70 of these notes in 32nd note cell. Irregardless of how long you press the pad, that is what I get for a note length. Does someone know how to perhaps extend the notes when I trigger the pads? br

Does anyone here with name brand e-drums have more success with midi recording? br

You can adjust the release on the sample and it will sound okay when played back, but quantizing or just moving them in the Ableton is kind of a p.i.t.a when data is this tiny.br

After searching some “midi note-off” questions, I’m left without a real solution. The midi implementation chart on the back of the user guide of the drums don’t specify how adjust note length. Not the end end of the world.

If you are in Ableton you can quantize not lengths to 8th 16ths or whatever.br

Can do sometyhing similar in Cubase (fix notes)

Thanks Phil! That pretty much takes care of the problem.br
