That’s a good point–I suppose the main point is to just have fun.



Though, it is interesting in a couple of ways, since this represents a segment of Sonic Academy users and their musical interest.



If I were going to create a tutorial, for example, I’d say that (as of now) Trance and Techno have the broadest appeal.



Also, if I were interested in expanding my fan base and wanted to experiment with merging my stuff with another sub genre, I want to know what others are listening to…for example if Ambient is my thing, I might play with Techno-fying a track and seeing how it’s received.

Fair enough…I mean I wouldn’t want to waste the 10 seconds it took to type the response instead of clicking a radio button :wink:



Really this is all just in the name of fun, though it is interesting that in the previous poll people identified “Progressive” as a sub genre, but in this followup, the numbers seem to segment between Trance and House.
