I dont know much of that style of music. I dont know if the arrangment supposed to be like this. But dont you think a good driving and solid bassline would support the track ? Its just an idea.
Ah I was listening to the track on different system There is a bassline ther. But its very subby. Maybe a bassline who is a bit more present like an octave higher and filter down what its to high, could give the track really more drive. That with strong agressivly sidechaincompression could do a lot. The other thing try to vary the snare. try just to put her on 2 and 4. after the beat is going on with the bass. Just some thoughts…
