ERGO! Studio Acoustics fixer thing!

http://www.krksys.com/krk-ergo.html

This is an interesting little product. Claims to fix the bad acoustics in your room. I think it basically does what Room EQ Wizard does, but without having to do a degree in Astro Physics!

Is it the dream product we call all do with … or is it a box of cr@p? Hhhmm …

All these room/acoustic correction toys are probably no better than a few old egg cartons. But I think you have some cash burning a hole right now dont ya?? lol

I would put my money in room treatment instead, but if you have already done that maybe ERGO is a good idea.

Does this make sense to you:

… oh wait the last image has green dots so that must mean that all errors have been corrected

Nah, just window shopping as usual! It’s gonna take more than a little box to fix my room of a thousand acoustic demons! :w00t:

btw I have just moved my mixing desk. That made a huge difference, but I’m sure I could get much better results if I could pull myself together and make some bass traps etc. I planning to move house at some point and hopefully I will get into that side of things when I do.

Oh that’s just disgusting!!! … but true!!

REW does NOT attempt to FIX a room in anyway, its an acoustic measurement tool.

BTW REW is piss easy to use and i have a video that will teach you everything you need to know on how to use it

Forget these so called fix it packages which are basically EQ`s, there is NO substitute for proper treatment.

Mark
